Scouts Win Swanley District Swimming Gala
Our Scout swimming team regained the trophy they won in 2012 at the recent Swanley District Swimming Gala held at Whiteoak Pool in Swanley on 8th March 2014.
They won 3 out of the 5 races in the Scout Section events plus a second place in the 4 x 1 Length Freestyle relay and beat 9 other teams taking part.
The results were:-
Lucy: 1st Place 1 Length Backstroke
Michael: 2nd Place 1 length Freestyle
Team: 1st Place 1 length Mat race
Lucy: 1st Place 1st Place One Length Shorts & T-shirt
Team: 2nd Place 4 x 1 Length Freestyle.
Other members of the team who took part were:-
Lee & Finn in the Scout Diving competition
Freddie - 1 Length Breaststroke
Sam - on the mat in the Mat Race & 3rd leg of the relay
Relay team; Michael, Fredide, Sam & Lucy
Mat Race team; Michael, Lee, Lucy Freddie & Sam on the mat.
